RPort Product Sunsetting - A Strategic Decision for the Future

Dear Team,

I want to personally address an important decision regarding our RPort product. After careful consideration, we have made the difficult but necessary choice to sunset RPort at this time.

This decision stems from a combination of factors that directly impact our ability to deliver the best possible SaaS solutions. First and foremost, the current profi tability outlook for RPort does not meet the long-term goals we have set for the company. Additionally, the technical bandwidth required to scale the product securely is greater than what we are able to allocate at this stage. Moving forward without these critical resources could expose us to legal challenges, which could drain valuable time and energy – ultimately detracting from our focus on developing the SaaS solutions that will drive Rook forward.

Above all, we prioritize the safety and security of our users. We love our customers, and it is our responsibility to ensure they are protected. Continuing with RPort at this juncture without the necessary security measures in place would be irresponsible. We do not want to risk the trust of those who rely on our products, and we are committed to taking every step to safeguard that trust.

While RPort may or may not return in the future, we are choosing to sunset it now to focus our efforts on more sustainable, high-value solutions that will ensure the continued growth and integrity of Rook. This is a strategic move that aligns with our broader mission of delivering world-class SaaS tools, and it is one that will ultimately position us for long-term success.
