How the trial works, how to apply a promo code at checkout, and how to upgrade or downgrade without losing your tiles.
Billing decisions belong on a single screen. The Billing page in your dashboard shows your current plan, trial status, subscription dates, and a place to apply promo codes.
Manage your trial
When you sign up, your subscription enters trial state with a start and end date. The dashboard shows the remaining days. A trial popup appears two seconds after the dashboard loads, once per session.
Trial gives you full Pro features so you can evaluate. When the trial ends, the workspace falls back to Free unless you upgrade. Tiles you cannot keep on Free become private rather than disappearing.
Apply a promo code

Open Billing
From the dashboard sidebar.

Find the promo field
Promo code field sits below the plan summary.

Apply
Paste, tap Apply. The discount reflects on the next renewal.
Upgrade and downgrade
- Upgrade: takes effect immediately. Pro features unlock the moment payment confirms.
- Downgrade: takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Tiles you cannot keep on the lower plan are marked private until you cull them.
- Cancel: stops auto renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the current period.
Receipts and invoices
Receipts arrive by email after every billing cycle. Invoices for Premium and Enterprise are downloadable from the Billing page in PDF, with your tax ID and address on each one.
Common questions
- Can I run multiple promo codes? Only one active code per workspace.
- Will my analytics survive a downgrade? Yes. Analytics history persists across plan changes.
- What happens to my verification badge if I downgrade? It hides until you upgrade again. The verification record stays.
